Artwork / File Preparation
Many of our clients have an interest in providing their own digital files for print production. Please look over the list of programs and file types we can work with to make sure your file is compatible with those that we offer.
Programs (Windows compatible)
Adobe Photoshop CS2, Adobe Illustrator 9, Corel Draw 11, Microsoft Word, Gerber Omega 2.6
Programs (Mac compatible)
Adobe Illustrator CS3, Adobe Photoshop CS3, Adobe InDesign CS3, some Quark files.
File Types
Psd, Tiff, Jpeg, AI, Adobe Illustrator Legacy 8, Cdr, Eps, Pdf, Plt, Dxf.
If your file is not shown here, please call to discuss. We will make every effort to try and accomodate you.
Note:
When working with photoshop files, place individual items on separate layers when possible. Minimum resolution should be 200 ppi/dpi at the final output size. Vector files should have fonts converted to curves or outlines. Please include .25 in. bleed around finished size. Cropmarks should be included.
While building your file, if in doubt, please call. Many times valuable time, effort, and expense can be avoided with some initial communication.
